Design and Animation: Me!
I took an animation course at School of motion back in January 2017 and at the end we were tasked to do this final project with everything we've learned.
The design and elements were provided but the project was not set up so we had to animated from scratch. I was happy with the outcome and surprised how much my skills had improved.

I was involved from the very beginning with this project which was quite nice to be able to develop a video from a very broad concept.
Alison Brislin told me she wanted to make something where real elements interacted with animated ones similar to Pete's dragon. After a couple meetings we had a solid outline of what the video would be and were able to call a storyboard artist to board the whole thing.
Once the storyboards were done, Ali got Kyle Simonick to do the Illustrations which were completely awesome.
After the shoot I had help from Kyla Trull to do some of the compositing and clean up as well as help from Timothy Johansen to do some compositing and animation.

This project was made for Disney home entertainment. I wanted to fuse the Polynesia art style the movie was inspired from with a textured feel. Below you will find the original style frame I designed with this in mind.
I drew a few Polynesian inspired elements in Illustrator and shot a couple of brush plates with a RED kit. I gave the final design touches inside after effects and used the plates to add more of a textured feel through the whole piece.
I wanted to push myself to do something new and I'm glad I did as I was pleased with the outcome.

In this series of videos I was responsible for the VFX and Composting. The idea at first was to have the effects Lego themed but after some creative development we thought it would be better to make the effects be themed to each movie franchise.

This was another Sing-a-long Created for Disney Home Entertainment. Due to a very tight deadline and longevity of the song I opted to go for a more vector look and simpler color palette.
I was lucky to have a team of people help me crank this project out in just a couple days.
